WEEK FIFTEEN: May 02, 2012 [Prezi.com]




My presentation was on The Essential Uses of the Whiteboard (Snowboard) which, I was using the prezi.com to do my presentation. I think that I am on the scale of eight (8) with my presentation. The whole reasons why was that I was able to figure out how to with the software and I was presenting alone. Maybe be if I have had a partner, the presentation will be on the scale of ten (10).

If was to do the presentation again, I would not need a partner anymore because I am now able to do my presentations on prezi.com with little problems. The thing that I would do differently is to add pictures or images on my presentation because it was very plain and simple.

At first, it was very hard to understand. But as I kept clicking and playing around with it, I came to understand how to use it. I believed that the prezi.com was very user friendly software. It is a guaranty that I will be utilizing this software (prezi.com) in my future education and when I become an educator. I will be introducing the software to my students to use it for their presentations on their projects.   



WEEK FOURTEEN: April 25, 2012 [Creating Prezi.com]




My final exam was a presentation on the topic “Innovative Uses of Whiteboards (Smartboards)” which, I use the prezi.com for my presentation. I have chose prezi.com because it was kind of easy and fun to work with, and also it has a lot of different kinds of presentation designs (templates). I guess that was the whole reasons why most of the class used it (prezi.com).




WEEK THIRTEEN: April 12- April 13 [Weebly]


The activity on weebly.com is like creating a resume. The resume is a professional portfolio that includes the following: Home (a little introduction about you), Experience, Education, Skills & Awards, Hobbies & Interests, References, and Blog ED 480. With this activity, we also have to include any preferred quotes and a picture of ourselves.

WEEK TEN: March 22- March 28, 2012 [I-movie Presentation]







This was a very fun and entertaining activity, which we (Joan, Nicole, and I) had to create movie on our invented technology tool. Our tool was called the TOILET. This tool can correct grammars. First of all, we created the movie for our new invented technology tool. Then, we edited the movie through the I-movie. Lastly, we presented our TIOLET tool to the class. Using the I-movie was very easy and fun to work with. We can actually change the tone (voice), and it was easy to edit our movie. By using the I-movie it was easy to safe or deletes the part of the movie. This was the first movie that I had tried creating and editing, and thanks to my group for the help and the opportunity.

WEEK NINE: March 08- March 14, 2012


On this day, we created a quiz for our classmates using the quiz-making software, QuizYourFriend.com. We were to pick a topic from the two topic articles, cats and sun, to make our quiz, and then had my classmates answer the quiz. I choose the cat, because it was familiar and easier to me. I had really enjoyed this software, and I will keep in mind to use it in the future.

WEEK FIVE: February 16- February 22, 2012 [WebQuest]


            What I found motivating about the Web Quest is its accessibility and its accommodations. We can easily access one of the three Web Quest sites to do a teach-back presentation, where a variety of subjects are available to choose from. The best thing about this Web Quest (zunal.com) I chose is that I don’t need to figure out how to do my presentation. The format has already been given, and I need to do is to provide information about my topic. This is the whole reason why I will continue to use Web Quest, zunal.com.


WEEK FOUR: February 9- February 15, 2012
            The date for this day was February 2, 2012. This is the day that I came in thirty minutes late, because I have thought that the class started at 9:30 a.m. But I was wrong. On this day, the classes were on a new website called “Blogger.com”. On this new website (Blogger.com), the students have to open a new blog account and then add all their classmate’s emails to the add list. After that, the students got to design the webpage, input pictures of themselves, and post a little introduction of ourselves on our blogs. We (students) also got to learn how to take our own pictures, by clicking on the booth. Lastly, it is this story event that I have been writing.


WEEK TWO: January 26-February 1, 2012 [FLOW CHART]



            This second week was on January 26, 2012. On this day, we started out with an activity that we have to write one word that describes a classmate on the paper, taped on their backs. This activity was part of an activity was part of an activity that we did on wordle.com. We (students) used the words on our paper to do the activity. The most described word will be in bigger fonts and the least will be in smaller font when printed. This wordle.com activity was fun and creative. Next, we (students) also did an activity on the buble.us website. This activity was a flowchart on “Technology”. On this activity, I have put “Technology” at the top of the chart. This is because Technology is the most important thing in today’s world.
            These two websites (wordle.com and buble.us.com) will be very helpful in doing fun and creative art activities with my students online. Also, buble.us flowchart will be very helpful in a lesson that involves discussions and visual learning. Other assignments will be creating art designs, family tree charts, and a web chart.

            I will rate both software a 10 because they were fun and educational/ I really like how creative I was, creating my wordle.

WEEK ONE: January 19-January 25, 2012 



January 19, 2012 was the first day of class; we (class) get to do a lot of important things. First of all, we (class) get to play a game called "Find Someone Game". Secondly, we introduced ourselves to the whole class. Then, we did the skills assignment online. Also, we learned how to do forums and the use of moodle.com. Lastly, we logged on the Timeline site (teach_nology.com) and also did our engrade accounts. I might not be accurate with the order of the activities because my computer was not working that day.
